Hello - I am trying to figure out if there is a way to format the sales receipt so when I download/print it, it displays the check number. So far I haven't had any luck figuring it out. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks!

This way, it will display the check number when printing the Sales Receipt. Let me guide you with these steps:
Afterward, you're good to create a Sales receipt and then enter the check number.
You can take a look at these articles when customizing a sales receipt:

August 03, 2020 07:26 AMThanks for your reply! This looks like a great solution however I do not see a "Manage Custom Fields" option. I only have the option to manually type in new custom fields. See attached. I tried switching to different templates and that didn't seem to make a difference. I am using QuickBooks Plus for non-profits. I don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks!
QuickBooks Team August 03, 2020 08:33 AMThanks for posting here in the Community. This is a new feature being rolled out by QuickBooks Online (QBO). I recommend opening an incognito browser for your corresponding browser:
Once you're in the incognito window, sign in to your QBO account and try to view the Check Number option on your sales receipt. If you're still unable to see this option, please reach back out to me here. I'm always here to help. Have a safe and productive week ahead!
